few other bugs we found. #11

  1. floor degeneration doesn't seem to be working. 3. signs are not working. 4. the start up block does not work.

I opened other issues for every bug, we need to separate all problems allowing us to concentrate a bugfix step per step. (the number 1 is already opened: #9, if it isn't explain in more detail what the problem is)
