Regression: Catalog search results create gaps between steps #797

Describe the Bug

This is a regression. When you click on the Step Catalog, if you search for anything, the steps have a huge gap between them.

Steps to Reproduce the Bug or Issue

  1. Click on the step catalog
  2. Type in http
  3. See gap
