MapTileProviderArray private to protected method #255

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
3.0.6 on Emulator and 2.3.3

Please provide any additional information below.
I wanted to ask if the method "findNextAppropriateProvider" in 
MapTileProviderArray could be changed from private to protected. I wrote a 
subclass that needs this method and i don't see the reason why this method 
should not be accessed by subclasses.
