GUI editor resets cursor to 0,0 and removes text #573

In a just-compiled / updated WebSim + GUI:localhost, the code editor is periodically (~10s) acting up by: moving the cursor back to first line first character, removing the last couple character typed.

This behavior seems to coincide with errors being thrown on the CLI output (or maybe after the error is resolved?). As one is actively trying to write code, there's syntax errors everywhere, like mid-sentence variables...
