The apostrophe symbol should be allowed in a name, because some people have apostrophes in the name, but only alphanumeric characters are allowed currently.

Firstly, the team has suggested a lower severity for the bug without any explanation as to why they would like to do so. Secondly, from a practical viewpoint, in Singapore, we are bound to have many friends that have different races. Given that this is an application design specifically for NUS student, I think that this is a common issue that will be faced by users of the application and pose an inconvenience to the user. The level of severity for this bug is definitely not the same level as that of a very low severity bug. It is also mentioned in CS2103T PE that disallowing the use of delimiters in names can be considered a FeatureFlaw as it might pose great inconvenience to users who would like to save contacts of their friends of different races or from different countries.
