Description

The dashboard should display real-time sound levels for both the front and rear of the classroom, allowing students and teachers to monitor the noise environment. The sound levels should be updated frequently and displayed in a clear, easy-to-understand format. This feature helps maintain an optimal noise level for concentration and minimizes distractions, ensuring a conducive learning atmosphere. The sound levels should be calculated as the average of the last 10 seconds to provide an accurate representation of the current noise level.

User Role

As a user

Desired Outcome

I want to monitor sound levels at the front and rear of the classroom

Goal or Purpose

so I can maintain a noise level that promotes concentration and learning

Acceptance Criteria

And I will be satisfied when:

  1. The sound levels for both the front and rear of the classroom are displayed clearly on the dashboard.
  2. The sound level data is updated in real-time (or at regular intervals, e.g., every few seconds) to reflect the current noise levels.
  3. The display should differentiate between the front and rear sound levels using clear labels or visual cues.
  4. The dashboard display should be responsive and easily readable on both large classroom screens and mobile devices.
  5. Sound levels are shown in decibels (dB) with visual indicators (e.g., color changes, bars) to indicate if the noise is within an optimal range or too high for concentration.
  6. The sound level data is calculated as the average of the last 10 seconds to provide an accurate representation of the current noise level.
