changing path for external links #9

is there a way to change the URL for redirection when one clicks on an external link on my server like currently, when someone clicks on an external like the redirection URL used is /catch/external how can I change it to {something}/catch/external is there any way to set this up while starting the server?

P.S. sorry if wrong place to ask....can't find anything proper related to this.
