Can this project achieve continuous deformation compensation in different parts of the ultrasound scanning process, rather than a single part? For example, venous ultrasound scanning of the arm continuously compensates for venous deformation along the direction of the arm. Thanks!

Sorry for the late reply. Yes, we also aim to achieve the continuous deformation during sweeping instead of only palpation in the same location. Since the input for the designed method is (force, global stiffness, us image), the global stiffness value can only obtained during the palpation. Therefore, during sweeping we can use an average stiffness for continuous compensation. You can refer to our previous paper about the the 3d visualization for sweeping sequence on the phantom data.
