Accidental temperature adjustments using companion app - Redefine control activation area? #119

I'm having increased rate of accidental temperature change when using the companion app from my phone since the 2x.x version Scrolling past the card often results in unwanted temperature adjustments. Maybe changing control activation area to only the "dot" instead of all available temperature area could be a solution?

I'm also experiencing the same issue. when accidently changed, if my AC unit is off, it turns it on. so far I have noticed my mistakes and turned it back off but could result in waste of energy.

Maybe some sort of touch protection, like a padlock icon? click the padlock to unlock and adjust the temperature slider. padlock resets to a lock state after x seconds

loving the card so far though :-) much nicer layout with more information displayed

Normal thermostat card you have to grab the dot. This one you touch anywhere on the arc it jumps to there.

Would love either a padlock or to opt out of this to avoid accidental changes.

Another alternative (and maybe easier?) solution would be to allow completely disabling any touch control of the gauge, so that you are forced to use the +/- buttons.
