Basically I'm voting against doing this, especially the button part - the new one is very counter productive and IMO looks hideous especially when there are only few allowed modes. The arc in the new design is good. _But for the arc, most important improvement in Better Thermostat card would be that it would draw the arc based on the min_temp: and maxtemp: attributes of the generic thermostat (and/or similar settings of it's own) See also [https://github.com/KartoffelToby/better-thermostat-ui-card/issues/148] I'd strikethrough that part in italics if I'd know how. Just figured out that this was all my mistake. It indeed does scele to min_temp: and max_temp: attributes
People are using this card precisely because it isn't the same as the new stock thermostat card. So IMO this is no no.
HA has a new Thermostat card design which is already really similar to this card: https://www.home-assistant.io/blog/2023/12/06/release-202312/#new-design-for-the-thermostat-card
Would it be possible to upgrade this card to the new card design? It does indicate whether the thermostat is heating currently rather nicely.
