KartoffelToby / better_thermostat

This custom component for Home Assistant will add crucial features to your climate-controlling TRV (Thermostatic Radiator Valves) to save you the work of creating automations to make it smart. It combines a room-temperature sensor, window/door sensors, weather forecasts, or an ambient temperature probe to decide when it should call for heat and automatically calibrate your TRVs to fix the imprecise measurements taken in the radiator's vicinity.

Hi, I don't know if it's just my thermostat not working with Better or if I am doing something wrong.

In any case, on the original thermostat at the target temp. Change on the Better thermostat, not set correctly.

It is a zigbee thermostat MOES HEATING THERMOSTAT BRT-100 / TS0601 from _TZE200

Edit: What else I found out, it's apparently a problem if I don't set an exact full degree: as 21.0 degrees / 22.0 degrees The thermostat can only do 1.0 degree increments. Can I set that in the dial to only change the target temperature by 1 degree increments.

I have set here directly via the zigbee 'climate.wz1' 26 degrees, which are passed on to the thermostat so And here are the values that arrive at BetterThermostat or too in Versatile Thermostat

@tomg1970 hey, firstly you would want to use a custom quirk for this TRV

tomg1970 commented 9 months ago

Yes exactly, I have already found and used the custom quirk. It works !
