KartoffelToby / better_thermostat

This custom component for Home Assistant will add crucial features to your climate-controlling TRV (Thermostatic Radiator Valves) to save you the work of creating automations to make it smart. It combines a room-temperature sensor, window/door sensors, weather forecasts, or an ambient temperature probe to decide when it should call for heat and automatically calibrate your TRVs to fix the imprecise measurements taken in the radiator's vicinity.

Provide presets that enable scheduling to be easier #1264

What is the feature?

Description

Support presets "away", "boost", "sleep", "normal" so that using something like scheduler-card is easier

Additional Information

Ideally, I'd like to be able to have the setting of different presets to be a configuration variable of the better_thermostat (changable ideally in the UI), and then the scheduler only switch between the predefined presets.

This would also make presence based automations much easier as they wouldn't have to contain the specific temperatures, they would only be in the thermostat.

Just looking for presets. Besides away and sleep I need a special preset when using a water heating fireplace insert - in this case most of TRVs needs to be open/set to higher temperature otherwise the system would overheat.

If this would be configurable (preset name, temperature) it would be great.
