Suggestion, always move straight to an adjacent cell when 'move' is enabled. In all other cases, keep it aqs it is.

Also makes sense to do the same when the engineer is laying. It does not want to move diagonally it makes sense when laying connectors, but does not make any sense when laying roads

KatekovAnton commented 10 months ago

Isn't it faster then the diagonal move?

iindex commented 10 months ago

It is not about faster/slower. Sometimes you need it to move exactly like that.

KatekovAnton commented 10 months ago

move cell by cell then

iindex commented 10 months ago

How? it is not possible in scenarios like on the image. There are certain cases where it is required, most common is APC underwater - It is not possible to go one cell diagonal near the coast as it tried to go through the coast and reveal itself.
