While the tabs properly hide when marked for hiding, they reappear on refresh of the page.

does your browser console throw any errors?

oh nevermind I just now understood what you're trying to achieve. It's not intended to hide the production or development tab. Do you need that functionality? If you only want one tab I would rather add a setting that removes the development tab.
