Plugin for Mac (OSX 10.5.6) doesn't work in FireFox 3.0.5, but does on Safari 3.2.1 #129

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Downloaded "googleearth-plugin-mac.dmg" 23 Dec 2008
2. Opened and installed per directions.
3. Restarted computer
4. Opened Firefox, tried MilkTruck Sample.  Got error message in window
"The Google Earth Plugin instance could not be created. Try installing again."
5. Opened Safari, tried MilkTruck Sample.  Success!

What is the expected output or behavior? What do you see instead?
Expected it to work in Firefox 3.0.5.  It doesn't.

Which plugin version are you using?
4.3.11528.8566

Which browsers and operating systems are affected?

Please provide any additional information (code snippets/links) below.

Is this still reproducable with the 5.0 version of the plugin?

Looks like it is now working in the latest version of Firefox (3.0.8).
