ubuntu Jaunty Jackolope Google earth crash #165

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. server auth thru net fails ssl related
2. complete crash
3.

What is the expected output or behavior? What do you see instead?

It would be cool if while we are submitting crash reports to ubuntu that google 
was
in  the same fold. 
Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty
kernel Linux 2.6.28-7 generic
Gnome 2.25.90
Hardware 3.4 Gigs mem
Dell Laptop Vostro 860
with celeron 2.13

This is technically an issue tracker for the Google Earth Plug-in and Google 
Earth
API. Can someone refile at the earth-issues tracker:
