Earth shadow stuck in one position

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Activate Sun / Earth shadow
2. Shadow stuck with the midpoint at my longitude (central europe)

What is the expected output or behavior? What do you see instead?

The shadow should follow the Earths rotation.

Which plugin version are you using?
1.0

Which browsers and operating systems are affected?

Mac OS X 10.5:  Safari 3, Safari 4, Firefox 3.1 (and possibly more)
