Time slider visibility control #202

What should this feature enhancement do?
With Google Earth Plug-in 5.0.11655.6079 (Google Earth API v1.002) there
seem to be no documented way to show/hide the time slider.

One can think it isn't a problem, but what about when you switch to Sky
mode. The time slider is still displayed!

Are there any known workarounds that produce the similar results?
None that I know of.

Please also add the ability to control the timeslider from the GE Plugin API 
(similar 
to what existed in the old COM API).

No was merely and simply expressing the desire to have this PITA 'feature' 
addressed.  It has been a big 
problem for me.

I have to say I agree with the frustration of the last poster. It's been almost 
a year since this request was accepted, and 
(admittedly, from an outsider's perspective), it just doesn't seem like it 
would take more than a day for someone to code it in.

Could someone from the Google Earth team please comment on the status of this 
issue? My work is focused on implementing an 
educational simulation in Google Earth, and I've been repeatedly hamstrung by 
the inability to control the time without having the 
adjustment slider visible on the screen where the user can adjust it 
(potentially breaking the simulation).

Any word? Please??
