I compared a regular-readout dark and a fast-readout dark to see how drastic the differences are. Visually speaking, they are obviously different. I think we should continue to use a dark/bias taken in fast read-mode when reducing fast-read data.
@howardisaacson -- I suggest examining the L0 files instead of 2D. If the bias frames for the fast-read exposures are different, then the stacked master bias frames will also be different. This will lead to improper processing of fast-read exposures with the regular-read masters.
On Nov 7th, the science night will use fast-read mode. Right before the night stars, we will take some fast-read mode cals. Compare them to the regular read-mode cals and note differences. Are fast-read mode cals needed? HTI will look into this.
