Fix was:

The game does not appear to be detecting dotnet's installation.
Could you try manually creating your prefix with this command(Note you will need to replace what is inside of the quotes with your actually SE prefix location, generally at ~/home/USERNAME/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/244850/pfx/):
WINEPREFIX="ENTERPREFIXLOCATIONHERE" winetricks --force -q dotnet48 vcrun2015 xact d3dcompiler_47
