New file names #101

Friendly names are now a thing; see #89. Once #73 has bee resolved friendly names for gates should work. That means filenames (as far as the user is concerned) are meaningless. For that reason, I suggest we start giving files names along the lines of a hash of the file followed by a timestamp. That would also be a workaround for #30, though I would naturally prefer that the underlying issue be fixed as well. Thoughts? Volunteers?

Can we alter the name displayed next to the gating tools (with the file size) to reflect the friendly names?

That's the plan. My recent changes have been centred around permissions, JSONification, and the file selector; I'll move onto the file_preview soon.
