Improve gating toolbar #21

I suggest that we make the tool selector a thin column with a glyphicon for each tool, then move the FAQ and about links to be in a column at the bottom. We could then move the upload button to be a wider button at the bottom of the file selector. Any thoughts?

Yeah I like that idea

Could we possibly merge the 'toolbar' with the bar at the top? I think we've got a lot of wasted space there and it'd look nice. I also agree that the upload button should definitely be with the uploaded files and always easily accessible.

Hmm, I think the tools make more sense at the side, whether the top bar can be reduced however is a different story, it could be interesting to reduce everything to either a tool or a file

I think we’re likely to encounter issues with space on mobile devices if we merge the toolbar into the header. If we make the toolbar thinner then it can be displayed on devices even with low y-resolutions.
