Hey @loganakamatsu were you interested in getting these merged? Looks like some good stuff, I'd be happy to put in the time; good excuse for me to give the app some love..

Sounds good to me. I meant to open this PR into my fork... I didn't know the status of the main tree.

Anyway, I'll open up some more coherent PRs shortly.
