macOS Sequoia has a Metal driver bug causing a kernel panic, this was already reported to Apple but not yet received feedback on if it’ll be resolved in 15.1 or not.
I've got 15.1 installed and it still occurs. I have already contacted apple, they did not mention this, I will contact them again and follow up with this knowledge in hand; Do you have anything that I can read and also direct the person who assists me towards, that details this issue?
macOS Version
Sequoia (macOS 15)
Apple Silicon or Intel
Apple Silicon
Wrapper Version
Wineskin-3.0.7
Engine
WS12WineCX23.7.1
Application/Game Name
Elite Dangerous
Render Used

Description of problem
The system reboots, the effect is instant if the graphics card has already been used by an application other than the system, if run after a fresh reboot with no programs loading, the game will play for some time before the system panics, shuts down and then restarts.
Steps to reproduce
1.Run game after a clean boot and no other applications have been used, results in limited play. 2.Run game after any other program that makes some use of graphic accelerations and the reboot is pretty much instant. 3.Runs for some time after the graphic shaders have been completely reloaded into the GPU. ...
Expected behavior
I expected to be able to play the game, it has been working fine for many months, the issue occurs since updating the operating system to a more recent version.
This is the log generated by my system upon rebooting:
