This is super hype, I'm so excited for the future of this project!
I’ve decided to pull the trigger and push an initial release of Kegworks
in wineskinlauncher
compatibility mode so we don’t need to wait on the Winery/Wineskin replacement apps.
Prior Wineskin Engines are not compatible out of box but some might be re-added.
Why not update the old repo readme to point here with deprecated once Kegworks is ready?
a quick question, when the readme say "This project supports macOS 10.15.4 or later", does it require macOS 10.15 to function properly?
Hi, I have installed Kegworks but no wrappers are installed. What engine should I use for MacOS Sonoma version 14.1.2?

The engine choice depends more on what you're willing to achieve/which software you want to run. I usually try to run the lastest engines either 32bit or 64bit depending on my needs. In some rare cases older wine versions work better though. I'd recommend checking whether you find anything on the web regarding wines compatibility, and select an engine which is a close match (you need to check the code weavers change logs to associate the CX engines to their according wine versions). If there aren't any close matches start with the latest one.

The projects deployment target is 10.15.4
Are there any ways to upgrade existing wineskin wrappers into using latest Kegworks Wineskin? Then update the wine engines? I am trying to convert some existing Intel-mac apps into Apple-silicon ones.

To upgrade an existing wrapper you’ll need to replace Wineskin.app from Kegworks wrapper to your existing wrapper, next upgrade the wrapper and then change to Engine.
@vitor251093 & myself have been quietly working on a major changes to the project as a whole.
@vitor251093 has been working on the app itself, starting with a
WineskinLauncher
replacement.Where I’ve been focused on improving the wine Engines. There’ll no longer be a need for separate D3DMetal Engines, CX23.7.1 and greater will be able to support DXMT along with other builtin render backends.
