I compiled and installed Touchegg:
Get this in the terminal and nothing els:
Try to make a multitouch gesture. If everything goes well the information about
the gesture must appear
[+] Avaliable gesture:
Name -> Flick
[+] Avaliable gesture:
Name -> Drag
[+] Avaliable gesture:
Name -> Pinch
[+] Avaliable gesture:
Name -> Rotate
[+] Avaliable gesture:
Name -> Tap
[+] Avaliable gesture:
Name -> Touch
Using a Dell XPS L502X. Any ideas why I get no response when I try the gestures?

I checked out and compiled touchegg at ubuntu 12.04 (unity) and it's working
great so far. But there is one problem: Touchegg only detects gestures with 4
or 5 fingers. If I use less fingers, no gesture is detected.
In your FAQ you write: "Unity reserves to itself gestures with 3 and 4 gestures
making impossible to Touchégg make use of it." In order to get 4 fingers
working, I do
sudo modprobe -r psmouse && sudo modprobe psmouse
before I start touchegg.
Is there a chance to get 1 to 3 finger gestures detecting in ubuntu 12.04 or
12.10?

No as I know, try to ask this question to the Unity developers or to the uTouch
developers

I have a Samsung Series 9 and Ubuntu 12.04; I compiled touch egg a month ago
and it worked fine till something happened (maybe I updated some packages) and
it stopped working, I get the segfault error
$ touchegg
Reading config from "/home/test/.config/touchegg/touchegg.conf"
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
Does anyone have a suggestion on what I could do to make it work again?
