Remote Start won't work on Apple Watch 2 #196

I purchased and installed Watch App for Tesla on my Apple Watch 2, and have setup everything as per instruction. However, when I tried to use Remote Start function, it gave me Failed message all the time. I can do Remote Start on my iPhone's Tesla app without any issue. Please help.

@calmzz Did you enter your Tesla account password correctly in the text box below the Remote start checkbox and description?

Yes, I did double check my password

@calmzz Ok - sorry, just checking - a lot of people don't do that, and then it won't work.

When you say you get a failed message, is that the push message that says the action failed? Or do you get an in-app error message?

Could you try to keep the watch screen on after you tap the remote start button? If it after repeated tries keep giving you the sad buzz and sound, but all other aspects of the app work fine - like unlocking - and remote start works from the Tesla iOS app - then the only explanation is that the password is rejected by the Tesla api. If you're 100% certain it is correct, the. It might be the current auth issue that is also affecting this part of the api. Would would be weird, but you never know.

What version is your car on? 2020.40.8 by any chance?

Cheers,

Kim

Hi Kim, thanks for your reply. I made it work now by changing my password and log in again.
