Key Unlock question #335

Does “watch app for Tesla” unlock the door if Apple Watch doesn’t have a cellular or WiFi connection if within BLE proximity of the car when it attempts to unlock the door?

Unfortunately not - the Bluetooth connection to the vehicle is limited to Teslas own app so far.

@orbitalfitness no, this has not changed.

There has been some work done in reversing the BLE auth - but not in actually getting it to work on the watch:
