Vehicle Open notification when unwanted #555

Open GeeRee1 opened 1 year ago

GeeRee1 commented 1 year ago

Hi every morning the app notifies me that the Vehicle is Open, even when parked at home and when the Open Features Reminder is toggled ON, with exceptions at Home and at Current Location (which is home as well). Neither Dismiss or Don’t Remind me Again prevents the app from locking the car (Success!) Ideas to make Dismiss or Don;’t actually forget the notification and leave unlocked?

Thanks GR

I've had a similar issue, seemingly at random. I posted about it before, but got no replies:

https://github.com/Kemmey/Kemmey-TeslaWatch-Public/issues/538

Since then I've found that it will just happen, for no apparent reason, some time in the morning. But not every day, in fact, it's pretty rare. When I get this warning, the car is NOT open. It's in the driveway with the cord plugged in and locked. The only thing open is the charge port.

Hey, sorry guys, struggling with an eye infection, so not much screen time for me :-(

I've had this happen to me as well - I know what's going wrong - when using cached data from Tesla the location is removed. So app thinks vehicle has moved, and will then notify again - or in wrong location.

I though it was fixed in 1.3.0 - but apparently not. I'll keep trying to fix this.

No worries, I hope I didn't sound like I was bitching, and I have failed to update the case with new info. I can't find the pattern to when this happens. It's sorta random. In a clustered way, where it seems like I get it several days in a row, then not. I think it's been a month since it happened.

I don't think it's location based for me. I park outdoors so I don't have location settings. The car is set to auto-lock and to warn at all locations. I work from home so there's no work location set.

On, thanks. It happens most but not all mornings, after the car wakes up, and occasionally during the day.

Feel better, fix it when you can. Best GR
