Issue details

In our app, we currently only cater to happy paths, ignoring when things fail, but then the api fails quite often, we need to

Reset frontend state to retry if backend api fails to respond or reset to a state before a button was pressed
Change the notifications loader to use the same notification id otherwise the notification thing will load forever
