kextload: kld_load_from_memory() failed for module #363

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I installed the macfuse core image and then the sshfs image that is
attached to this project.  After that I tried to use the command line to
access it and got the following:

$ sshfs dev:/home/dm_50 Desktop/dev_home/
kld():
/System/Library/Filesystems/fusefs.fs/Support/fusefs.kext/Contents/MacOSl
kextload: kld_load_from_memory() failed for module
/System/Library/Filesystems/f
kextload: a link/load error occured for kernel extension
/System/Library/Filesys
load failed for extension
/System/Library/Filesystems/fusefs.fs/Support/fusefs.k
 (run kextload with -t for diagnostic output)
the MacFUSE file system is not available (1)
OpenConcept-Laptop:~ mike$ man sshfs
No manual entry for sshfs

In trying to use the sshfs.app I just get no response.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I should see a file system appear in dev_home.  

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Tiger, macosx

Please provide any additional information below.
