Summary of this Pull Request:

Finish fixing CRUD methods for REST API on registration.
Finish study preferences CRUD methods as well.
A few changes took place for other REST APIs such as login and user profile.
The logic works, although still requires automatic tests to make sure the request is properly handled by the server.
