gpaste-daemon segfault on debian 11 #369

message was :

gpaste-daemon[2288]: segfault at 20 ip 00007fc65a042fd0 sp 00007ffe0b521008 error 4 in libglib-2.0.so.0.6600.8[7fc659fca000+88000]

and i don't known how to reproduce this. any idea to resolve this?

Any chance you can get a backtrace ? (like with coredumpctl or such ?)

ok, i got another log like this:

gpaste-daemon[2288]: g_paste_history_private_check_memory_usage: assertion 'biggest' failed
gpaste-daemon[2288]: error while creating regex: Error while compiling regular expression ne\ at char 3: \ at end of pattern
gpaste-daemon[2288]: g_variant_new_strv: assertion 'length == 0 || strv != NULL' failed
gpaste-daemon[2288]: g_variant_ref_sink: assertion 'value != NULL' failed

PS: windowing system was X11, and gnome version was 3.38.5
