open gui window at mouse cursor position #394

my son recently suggested this change as it makes the global keyboard shortcut (launch the graphical tool) more useful on large screens

Are you using version 42 already? (I have a few changes locally and will publish a new one once I'm done with those, but this one could easily be backported if needed)

thank you for reacting so quickly! i'm not on 42 yet, so backporting to 41 would be really nice.
