Numbered Icons URL

Hey, I know there are a lot of forums out there explaining that creating a 
numbered icon is "so easy", you just download a zip file with the numbers and 
then host it on your website! Well, I'm an amateur, I do not have a website, 
nor am I interested in creating one... I just want some numbered icons to help 
me plan my trip to Switzerland... 

Yesterday I stayed up late and stumbled upon something that gave a URL for a 
yellow numbered marker. I copied that URL and used it to create yellow, red, 
blue, and green icons numbered 1-20 (in each color). I was ecstatic! I created 
a beautiful map of Lucerne and went to bed happy.

Then today I decided to create a similar map for Zurich. To my surprise, the 
icons I had created were not available for a new map! And to an even greater 
shock, the icons that were unused in my Lucerne trip (68 out of 80) disappeared 
from that map too! Is this supposed to happen?

I learned my lesson, and when I find out the URL to a new numbered marker, I 
promise I will guard it with my life. Could you please send me the URL to one 
of those markers? Pretty please?

Couldn't google make this easier on all of us and just make numbered icons 
standard...?

Any problem with existing icons ?
The custom icons disappear if you don't use them or if you try to use them for 
a new map.

Have a suggestion for new icons ?
