Question: How stream a live recorded

I tried to find a answer but not exact a match or better way to do.

I have issues with live stream of tv channel on youtube and my solution:

• Record every hour like %channel_%h.mp4
• Stream the last hour in tvheadend

How i save the every hour from a live channel? There's a better solution for this problem?
