z-index problems #56

Hi, I am running XP with Firefox 3.

I found a couple of issues with the original.  The position wasn't working.
 I uploaded the patch already provided in another one of these threads,
with no luck.  I found I had to change the parent element's CSS to
"position:relative;" so that was a no-brainer.

The second issue is that the z-index of this drop-down menu goes underneath
other drop-down menus underneath this element.  I have gone into Firefox's
Firebug to tweak settings with no luck.  The Z-Index relative to other
elements needs to improve.

Can you please provide a sample code to reproduce the z-index problem? I am
