What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Just start the application.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Macaceupdater unexpectedly quit.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Latest for both.

I am able to use 0.51 on Mac OS X 10.5.1 without issues.

Updated to 0.5.1 but I also get an immediate problem on Mac OS X 10.5.
It worked before Patch 2.3.2 though.

I just started having this same issue today. Used to hang/crash after updating, 
now
crashes when opened.

I, too, am having this problem; while it used simply to freeze after updating 
addons,
now the program will not open at all (times out and/or crashes immediately)

Seems like the rss feed the updater is using to get the files is down. Happens 
nearly
every patch day and is no problem of MAU. Call ppl from wowace.com.

Sad thing is the application is still crashing instead of telling us what the 
problem
is. We wished for a meaningful error message since the first downtime of wowace 
:-)
