Installing a license server on Ubuntu20 #5

Hello, just trying to get license server installed on Ubuntu20, worked great on 18 but not 20, After much fight got an error and stuck at it: /export/abaqus/AM_SIM_Abaqus_Extend.AllOS/3/SIMULIA_FLEXnet_LicenseServer/Linux64/1/StartTUI.sh: 4: typeset: not found CurrentMediaDir initial="/export/abaqus/install/AM_SIM_Abaqus_Extend.AllOS/1/" /export/abaqus/install/AM_SIM_Abaqus_Extend.AllOS/3/SIMULIA_FLEXnet_LicenseServer/Linux64/1/StartTUI.sh: 6: typeset: not found /export/abaqus/install/AM_SIM_Abaqus_Extend.AllOS/3/SIMULIA_FLEXnet_LicenseServer/Linux64/1/StartTUI.sh: 8: [[: not found /export/abaqus/install/AM_SIM_Abaqus_Extend.AllOS/3/SIMULIA_FLEXnet_LicenseServer/Linux64/1/StartTUI.sh: 10: [[: not found CurrentMediaDir="/export/abaqus/install/AM_SIM_Abaqus_Extend.AllOS/1//export/abaqus/install/AM_SIM_Abaqus_Extend.AllOS/1/" /export/abaqus/install/AM_SIM_Abaqus_Extend.AllOS/3/SIMULIA_FLEXnet_LicenseServer/Linux64/1/StartTUI.sh: 18: typeset: not found /export/abaqus/install/AM_SIM_Abaqus_Extend.AllOS/3/SIMULIA_FLEXnet_LicenseServer/Linux64/1/StartTUI.sh: 22: .: Can't open /export/abaqus/install/AM_SIM_Abaqus_Extend.AllOS/1//export/abaqus/install/AM_SIM_Abaqus_Extend.AllOS/1//inst/common/get_DSY_OS.sh

Any help is very appreciated ...

Hi, I had the same problem. Have a look at this link. Basically I just changed the first line of the StartGUI.sh file from #!/bin/sh to #!/bin/bash I see you are using TUI installation but maybe it is similar. Check the .sh file pointed in the error messages.

Thank you, what end up working for me I had a working installation on Ubuntu 18 box I was able to tar it up and moved it to the 20 box. un-taring it worked just fine on 20 box ... Not sure what was missing but we are up and running. Thanks again Leo
