What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Launch Tint2 with xfce4-power-manager systray activate
2.plug/unplug battery or adapter / stand for full battery notification
3.a blank appeared in the systray

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The systray icon should update itself without creating this blank.
Currently, this is what happens when I disconnect the supply / reconnect /
switch to battery charging in full ...

I have this same problem, and the blanks seem to multiply every time I put the
laptop to sleep and wake it back up. Killing xfce4-power-manager and restarting
it resolves the problem, so I just wrote a script that does this when the
laptop wakes up. A proper fix would be nice, though.

Thanks for the report.

Recent versions of xfce4-power-manager appear to behave better in the system
tray.

Could you please let us know if this still causes problems?
