Vertical lines in systray at startup #422

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Add something like

tint2 &
volti &
gnome-mplayer &
dropboxd &
exec openbox

to your .xinitrc

2. Configure the tint2 systray to something different to left2right.

3. Start X. You may end with some vertical lines between some systray icons. If
not, please try with different apps and a different number of apps also.

The vertical lines dissapear as soon as the mouse moves over tint2 or some
other UI event is triggered. Also, they don't appear when you later remove or
add apps to the systray after startup.

It seems like the problem is related to the order the apps are added to the
tray at startup because left2right doesn't show the artifacts.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Up to date arch linux with:

tint2 0.11-5 (also tested with tint2-svn)
openbox-git 20121115-1

I'm attaching my tint2rn FYI.

Hi and thanks for the report. Such problems are usually triggered on buggy
graphics stacks.

Could you please let us know if you are still experiencing issues?
