I setup your app successfully on JF server. I can play channels through browser. I can play channels through Android app. I can see the guide and select channels in Android TV app (on FTV Max) but playing the channel errors out.

Any ideas why?

Could you provide server logs?

Someone helped me here https://www.reddit.com/r/jellyfin/comments/140icq5/jfaddonxtreamandroidtv/

Go into the android tv settings>playback>scroll down to live tv and uncheck the box that enables transcode.

Go into the user's profile page from an admin account and uncheck allow audio/video transcoding and uncheck force transcoding.

But I also had to abandon anyways because there is no way to time shift. All apps that I use my IPTV service the guide matches the proper time automatically. But when adding same service here. The guide shows the the right time. But not the correct show for that time slot. It's off by multiple hours.

EPG times are directly read from the API as Unix timestamp. You could check if you configured the correct timezones on your server and clients. The convertion to your local time is handled by Jellyfin itself.

Correct times ones exist on server. All other apps pick it up properly. Just this addon that doesn't shift appropriately. If there was an offset option it could work. Then I could tell it to use -4
