@Flaxscrip the latest version still have both files. I'm not sure if docs changes are actually required. Assigning to you to validate, and either:

stage docs updates, or
summarize here for me to document.

This is a deployment configuration. The default value (json) is valid.

I created a new issue for creation of "MDIP Deployment, Configuration, and Integrations Guide". (#135) Let's close this and plan to cover config options in that upcoming document.
