Wrong username verification #165

When trying to save settings, I get the following error:

2021-12-04-104628_313x103_scrot

Which is unexpected since my username is ((( O ))) which follows the requirement. By the way, I haven't touch my username, it's the one I chose when creating my account.

This isn't really a bug as we haven't allowed different variations of special characters over time. The actual bug would be a) error reporting and b) removing illegal text on signup

For clarity, it might be better to have the error show what you can put rather than what you can't put.
