main letter search #203

Feedback Type Enhancements

What went wrong? Two things, the old Sikhi To The Max allowed you to do a main letter search. This option is now missing. That was a very useful option for shabads that had three or four word sentences. For example rajan raj, bhanan bhanan. Full word search is there, but then we cant get gurmukhi right.

What should have happened instead?

How can the issue be recreated by our team? Does not have main letter search option. Has the full word search option, but that is not adequate for needs.

First Letter (Start) and First Letter (Anywhere) options are available.

Main letter search is a legacy feature that was available in sttm2 and has not been added to current. The data is there and it should be implemented at some point.

@ManjotS can you clarify what exactly Main Letter search does that is different than what we currently have?

Main letter is search without vowels and its highly valuable. We have discussed it many times.
