As a white hat hacker or security researcher, I want to be able to prove the discovery and submission of a security vulnerability through a bug bounty program without revealing the sensitive details to unauthorized parties, ensuring I can be properly recognized and compensated for my work while maintaining the confidentiality needed for cybersecurity across all industries.
Acceptance Criteria
[ ] The system must allow submission of a zero-knowledge proof to attest to the discovery of a bug.
[ ] Verification of the zero-knowledge proof should confirm the validity of the bug discovery claim without revealing the actual bug.
[ ] The system should ensure that the zero-knowledge proof cannot be reused by another party to claim a reward for the same bug.
[ ] There must be a procedure in place for dispute resolution in case of conflicting claims.
[ ] The protocol must not disclose any information that could compromise the vulnerability or the system it affects before a fix is implemented.
[ ] Payment disbursement is conditional upon the maintainers’ acceptance of the zero-knowledge proof and fulfillment of predefined bounty criteria.
[ ] The system should log all submissions with timestamps to ensure fair processing and to assist in possible disputes.
