Electric Bike Battery and Management System Specifications
As an electric bike manufacturer, we require a reliable and efficient Battery and Management System (BMS) to power our e-bikes, ensuring long-range, safety, and a great user experience.
Acceptance Criteria
[ ] The battery must have a minimum capacity of 500 Wh to ensure adequate range.
[ ] The BMS must provide overcharge and deep discharge protection to prolong battery life.
[ ] The BMS must continuously monitor cell voltage and temperature for safety.
[ ] The system must be able to communicate with the e-bike's controller to display battery stats to the rider.
[ ] The battery should be easily removable for charging or replacement.
[ ] The BMS must support fast-charging up to 80% capacity within 2 hours.
[ ] The battery must be rated for at least 800 complete charge cycles before capacity falls below 80%.
[ ] The system must comply with international safety standards such as UL and CE.
