As part of the affordable modular housing project, we aim to ensure that all windows and doors used in our modules meet the following criteria for efficiency, durability, and security.
Acceptance Criteria
[ ] Windows and doors must comply with local building codes and energy efficiency standards.
[ ] Windows must be double-glazed with a minimum U-value of 1.6 W/m²K.
[ ] Doors must have reinforced cores for enhanced security, with multi-point locking systems.
[ ] All units must fit within standardized modular frames with tolerances of ±3mm.
[ ] Materials used must be sustainable, low-maintenance, and recyclable at end-of-life.
[ ] Windows must provide an air tightness less than 5 m³/hm² at 50 Pa pressure difference.
[ ] Doors must have adjustable hinges for alignment and weather seals to prevent drafts.
[ ] Windows and door designs should allow for easy installation and replacement within the modular housing structure.
