AFLUX (Flux d'Animaux) est une plateforme de dépôt en ligne créée pour cartographier, gérer, partager, analyser des données sur le mouvement des animaux. Ce projet est coordonné par le Cirad. Cette ressource est collaborative et ouverte à tous, tout en garantissant la propriété de leurs données avec la possibilité de choisir de rendre ou pas un jeu de données public. La base de données est conçue principalement pour les informations qui traitent de troupeaux (et non de suivi individuels) tels que les mouvements commerciaux ou de transhumance, avec une origine et une destination.

Les principaux objectifs de cette plateforme AFLUX sont :

• déposer, archiver et cartographier les flux animaux
• permettre la collaboration et le partage mais aussi promouvoir l'accès ouvert aux données entre les chercheurs,, les étudiants qui sont intéressés par le mouvement des animaux.
• aider les scientifiques à aborder leurs questions scientifiques relatives à la mobilité animale en calculant automatiquement des indicateurs statistiques

AFLUX (Animal Flows) is an online platform created to map, manage, share, analyze animal movement information. This project is coordinated by CIRAD. This resource is collaborative and open to all, while ensuring the ownership of the data with the ability to choose whether or not to turn in public the dataset. The database is designed primarily for information that deals with herds (and not individual) such as commercial or transhumance movements, with origin and destination flows

The main objectives of this AFLUX platform are:

• deposit, archive and map animal flows
• enable collaboration and sharing but also promote open access to data between researchers, students who are interested in the movement of animals.
• help scientists to address their scientific issues related to animal mobility by automatically calculating statistical indicators
