After reading #137 I thought it would be a good idea to include a README for the example.

This is great! I'm sure people will find the example really helpful.

It looks like you have some other commits in this branch. I don't know if they're contentful or not, but it makes me a bit nervous. Can you make a new PR that has just 2fe3b91 in it?
